THE 2011 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE

CLAN DAVIDSON SOCIETY IN AUSTRALIA INC.

 The 2011 AGM was held from 6:30pm to 6.40pm on

Saturday 9^th April 2011 at the Molly Morgan Motel, East Maitland, NSW.

General Business:

Modern Davidson Tartan Kilt;

A Modern Davidson Tartan Kilt was donated by Jean Smailes of Perth and

was then sold. The proceeds were donated to the Society's funds. A letter

of thanks is to be sent to Jean.

Lane Cove Tartan Day;

Stephen announced that he will be representing the clan at the Lane Cove

Tartan Day observation in Sydney on the 18^th of June and has invited local

members to attend.

The Eagle Feathers;

Dawn made a presentation of moulted eagle feathers to Frank, to be kept

in reserve if needed by clan Armigers.

A thanks to Lin Rayner;

Lin Rayner, attending from New Zealand, presented the Clan Society with

a copy of "Robbie: The story of Dunedin's Burns Statue" and then

presented a gift to Dennis Hill who had met Lin at Sydney Airport and

transported him to the Gathering.

Clan Gathering 2012;

Discussion of possibilities included the township of Nundle NSW

but an offer from the current Convenor, Beryl, to return to the

Maitland/Morpeth area was recieved with enthusiasm.

A vote of thanks;

To the Convenor, Beryl, was proposed by Dean/Avon and

carried by acclamation.
